台灣的民主受全世界推崇，本案造型以大小不一的方框象徵往民主路上的枷鎖和限制，但終能突破萬難。

兩側面的後牆內含大小不一的方形開孔，也暗示了台灣多元的文化、族群、省籍的包容性。

The democracy in Taiwan is respected all around the world, the design of this project symbolizes the shackles and restrictions on the road to democracy in the form of boxes with different size, but finally able to break through the misery. The rear wall on both sides contain the openings with different size, also implied Taiwan’s diverse culture, ethnic groups, and tolerance among the people.
